A podcast about all things blockchain & its applications in the digital economy. The focus of this podcast is to cut through the noise and focus on genuine applications of the blockchain technology.
Laide decided to start this show in 2021 after seeing the disconnect between chatters within tech circles and those of everyone else. In addition, the echo chambers within DLT/blockchain/web3/crypto make it difficult to be constructive and properly discuss areas of improvements for Web3. This podcast aims to bridge that gap through conversations with knowledgeable individuals.
Laide learned about blockchain in 2012 and eventually bought a tiny amount of cryptocurrencies in 2014. Since then, she's kept up with the space and has even taken some courses on Solidity.
Laide is Engineer turned Product Manager with over 13 years of experience across engineering, product, and business. She has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, M.S. in Embedded Systems from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and Dual B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.
